west@work: Job Seekers

Our west@work team takes the time to understand your employment goals and the needs of the employers we work with within your local area.

We create linkages between yourself and employers to determine if there is a good fit, resulting in long-term employment.

We can assist you in looking for work in your local area by connecting you to information, support and training that’s right for you.

We improve your access to job vacancies and support you to transition and remain in a job that is right for you.

If you are looking for work or seeking a career change, we can assist you with finding the right information and resources to help you consider your options and make informed decisions.

We will work with you to develop a job plan that supports you in building your job skills and confidence so that you are ready when the right opportunity presents itself.  We can assist with such activities from resume writing and preparing for job interviews, identifying further training or study opportunities to connecting you with other community services.

Once you have started a job that suits your needs, we will provide support within your first six months of employment to ensure that it is the right fit for you and your new employer.

We deliver west@work service across the Western and Eastern Metropolitan areas, Barwon (Geelong) and Central Highlands (Ballarat).
