If your disability, illness or injury is classified as long-term, has or will likely persist for 2 years or more you are eligible to apply to receive assistance from Disability Employment Services. 

If you have a disability, illness or injury that has or will persist for more than 2 years, we can provide you with specialised one-on-one assistance with finding and gaining suitable long term employment.

There are two ways which you can link in with WCIG’s Disability Employment Service; 

1. You can ask your local Centrelink to refer you to WCIG, or
2. You can connect with WCIG directly and we can assist you in registering as a participant of Disability Employment Services

If you are eligible, WCIG’s Disability Employment Services can assist you with costs associated with gaining and maintaining employment, including travel costs, workwear and work equipment. 

WCIG’s Disability Employment Services can provide employers who recruit someone with a disability, injury or illness with onsite support, including workplace equipment that will assist the new employee to fulfil their role.
