Skills for Education and Employment assists young people figure out what’s next for them. Now that we’re conducting all study and support online or over the phone, it’s the perfect time to step out of your comfort zoneā¦ in the comfort of your own home.
Many young people face challenges related to work, family, education and other life circumstances. Sometimes this means that we find ourselves at a crossroads and not sure where to go next. In these times of physical and social isolation, it can feel even more lonely and confusing. Our SEE program is for young people aged between 15 – 25 who want some help with work and study choices.
If you’re feeling hesitant or a bit unsure about entering a physical classroom-like space with others, joining our SEE program now will give you the time and space to figure it all out before we all meet again.
Normally, we meet in Ascot Vale a few times a week to work on our individual goals and projects with our awesome trainer, Joanna. Our students receive one-on-one and peer support in a warm open space equipped with a huge kitchen and several cozy study areas. However, for now we’re all getting in touch via phone, FaceTime, Messenger, text – whatever suits! It means that support is with you, even if you’re not in the room with everyone else.
