Aged Care Level 1 is designed to support you to gain vocationally module focuses on literacy and numeracy contextualised for the aged care sector. It is designed to develop your’ industry-specific literacy and numeracy levels, particularly for learners who are currently below level 3 on the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF).

Employability skills
Care worker’s duties and responsibilities
Daily routines and personal qualities
Work rosters
Food and culture
Food safety and numeracy
Positive ageing
Written communication
Work plans
Workplace health and safety
Revision and pathways
Duration and Location
Duration: 80 hours – 14 sessions
Location: WCIG Footscray, or for group delivery we can come to you.

Entry Requirements
- Permanent Resident, Australian Citizen residing in Victoria.
- Currently not enrolled in School.
Education and Employment Pathways
- Volunteer in Aged Care Sector
- Education pathways into CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support
